  Having attended numerous Episcopal Churches in the area, I had not expected to find this gem of a parish in the town of Bound Brook. From the exterior the church is not that pleasing to the eye but there is a simple and elegant aesthetic within the walls of the church - from the well-crafted stations of the cross to the wooden beams of the upside-down arc in the ceiling of the nave of the church. The organist is superb and plays within himself so that what is emphasized is communal worship - not his own performance. The selection of hymns and motets seem to draw out the best of the choir and the congregation rather than a form of didactic imposition that so often draws away from the spiritual experience of the service. The highlight, at least for me, was the sermon by the priest-in-charge, Reginald Nuamah whose words were suffused with warmth, prayer, intelligence and a deeply meditative spiritual life. Spiritually I could feel myself moved to seek more of the fruits of the Christian life: more love, more learning, more healing, more forgiveness, and more reconciliation. This is a priest who loves and lives the gospel and whose every word seems to recognize what moves and sustains the Christian life: grace.
  After the service, my children were especially pleased by the assorted goodies at the coffee hour and we were also impressed by the genuine cordiality of the handful of church members who introduced themselves to us and made us feel welcome.
